So my bro Jason just got his new bike (Harley Davidson -Forty Eight) today. He wanted to come by to show it off and I happily accepted the invite. What can I say…..I’m jealous. Took her for a spin and fell in love. Can I have one my dearest wife?

Got her together today, gas tank and all since I had do do some heavy cleaning and maintenance. Yes the kids toys in the background don’t make for a pleasant composition here, but it’s what I had to work with 😉

I’ve been wanting to try something new and a little outside my comfort zone. Since I have a somewhat mini studio now, I went ahead and pulled down my new seamless backdrop, gelled my speedlights and prayed for no whining. Instead I got an infant who fell asleep, not bad! This was framed a little tight, but gives you the general idea of what I was trying to achieve.
Two speedlites, one gelled light lavender behind subject (1/16th power), the other center high diffused through a 32′ silver umbrella (1/8th power)
The other shot is just me playing around today bothering Dominic with my camera. 😉
